Alan Thicke has acted in and hosted a number of shows. He is best remembered for his role of a psychiatrist father in ABC Television’s sitcom Growing Pains.
In addition, he was also a successful theme song composer; he composed theme songs for numerous sitcoms like Different Stokes, The Facts of Life, Celebrity Sweepstakes, The Wizard of Odds, Wheel of Fortune, Joker’s Wild, etc.
His son, Robin Thicke is an award-winning singer and songwriter, best known for his pop hit “Blurred Lines.” Notably, Robin was inducted into the Canada’s Walk of Fame in 2013.
