  1. He started acting at the age of 5 with a school play- ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’ and debuted his acting career at the age of 12 with the Naseeruddin Shah starrer- Jalwa (1987), as Archana Puran Singh‘s younger brother.

  3.  In 1988, he did his first professional play- ‘Brighton Beach Memoirs’ under the baton of Pearl Padamsee, which earned him the title- Child Prodigy by the press.
