  3. Nikol Pashinyan is an Armenian politician who became the Prime Minister of Armenia on May 8, 2018. 

  1. He was born in Ijevan, a regional town near the north-eastern border with Azerbaijan. 

  1. In the early 1990s, he moved to the capital Yerevan to study journalism. 

  1. He was a brilliant student and was tagged a straight-A student.

  2. Pashinyan couldn’t finish his journalism degree, as he was expelled for missing classes.

  1. Following the protest, Pashinyan, along with 200 other, was arrested. However, under intense pressure, Sargsyan released them and resigned.
