Saanand came from a poor family background.
At the age of 8, he used to walk more than 25 kilometers to sell books.
During his school days, he participated in a state level annual debate competition hosted by his school who never won in hundred years but he created history by winning the trophy for his school.
At the age of 12, he became a Tutor to a 6-year-old kid and received 15 rupees as tuition fee.
At the age of 12, he also wrote three novels of one thousand pages each but destroyed them later as he was not happy with his own work.
His father was also a litterateur and wrote several novels & poetry books. Some of them also got published.
At the age of 18, he began working as a journalist.
He got employed by a leading newspaper as ‘Sub Editor cum Reporter’. He wrote about Art, Culture, Humanity, Dramatics & Cinema and became the youngest Film Critic of India whose reviews got published in a well-known Hindi Newspaper Dainik Jagran.
He also worked as a Reporter in a video magazine named Face-To-Face, but due to the company’s shutdown, he ended up being unemployed for a few months.
After that, he worked as a stall-handler for an MNC in a religious festival and later worked with IN Network owned by Hinduja Brothers.
He then joined Sony Entertainment Network and worked in the creative department of various TV Channels run by SONY. He also won several international awards for his creative skills but he quit the job in 2009.
After struggling for a year, he got his breakthrough role in 2010 with the TV show CID.
He rose to fame after playing the role of Anokhelal Saxena in TV serial Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! (2015-present).
He has appeared in several commercial advertisements of popular brands such as Cello Chairs, IDEA, etc.
