She belongs to a joint family, her uncle Vinayak Parihar is a social worker and her grandmother Devkunwar Parihar was the President of Narasimhapur Panchayat (Madhya Pradesh).
Tapasya is a village girl and her father Vishwas Parihar is a farmer.
She was a topper in the 10th and 12th standards at her school Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narisinghpur.
After completing her LLB at the India Law Society’s Law School, Pune, she started preparing for the UPSC exam in Delhi.
She passed the UPSC (Civil Services Examination 2017) in her second attempt and got 23rd rank in all India.
Tapasya gives the credit of her success to her parents and uncle who always supported her.
According to her, she was an average student in studies but always believed in hard work.
In an interview, she revealed the fact that she always tried to command the subject that she studied.
As per the opinion of Tapasya, she used to study 8 to 10 hours daily, and the keys to her success are hard work, discipline, and honesty.
As a civil servant, she wants to strengthen the economic conditions of the farmers in her area and dreams of a developed rural India in future.
